Thanks to partners, USO of Hampton Roads and Central Virginia has plans to launch a healthy food initiative to promote wellness, food education, and healthy living. This initiatve will launch before the end of 2020 on our USO JEBLC center and as always, we need your support!

We will also host healthy cooking classes taught by professional chefs. These classes will include healthy cooking on a budget, slow cookers meals, vegan meals, and more. Classes will be offered bi-weekly online.

Food items and other necessities will be on-hand at our JEBLC center. Boxes will consist of dry and canned foods, such as pasta, cereal, pasta sauce, rice, canned soups, etc. When available, we will offer baby items (food and diapers), feminine hygiene items, and pet food.

Pickups will be by reservation, one box per family per month. Planned distribution days will be Tuesdays and Thursdays, 1000-1400. Families can alert pantry staff of food allergies or dietary preferences.
