The Outdoor Adventure Program (OAP) is based on the simple belief that military service members and their families engaging together in healthy activities provides shared experiences that fortify against struggles associated with the demanding needs of the military lifestyle.

OAT Program Goals:

  • Encourage lasting personal connections through wellness based activities and adventures
  • Create sustainable healthy living practices
  • Provide exciting opportunities to explore new hobbies
  • Build relationships with local Virginia communities

Whether paddle boarding, building a community garden, healthy cooking programs, or scavenger hunts, OAP has created experiences that help fortify against potential struggles associated with the demanding needs of the military lifestyle.
