USOHRCV Welcomes USS Arlington and USS Kearsarge!
On July 18, 2019, USS ARLINGTON and USS KEARSARGE made their way back home to Naval Station Norfolk from deployment. Families, loved ones, and Team USO of Hampton Roads and Central Virginia (USOHRCV) awaited as more than 4,500 sailors and marines returned home from a seven-month long deployment.
Under the sweltering heat, Team USOHRCV provided cold waters, hand sanitizer, and Girl Scout Cookies to families as they waited on their loved ones to dock. Families were also provided materials to create poster boards, so that service members could easily find their families in the crowd.
Team USOHRCV is proud to serve our men and women in uniform and their families!
