Mission Delivery in Action: NAS Dam Neck Annex

It takes a Force to keep our service members connected to home, family, and country through Mission Delivery. On July 15, 2020, a team of USO HRCV staff and volunteers delivered 531 boxes of Girl Scout cookies, provided by Girl Scouts of Colonial Coast, to five different commands serving at NAS Dam Neck Annex in Virginia Beach.
Our team started Mission Delivery Day at our warehouse space generously provided by our friends at SAIC. There, we loaded as many cases of cookies as possible inside our brand new box truck, provided by Smithfield.
Although service members and team USOHRCV kept their distance, service members felt a strong connection to the USO mission. Many smiling behind their masks with gratitude!
